We have been trying to offer a convenience and useful service to forign users. And finally, we lunched the Premium Service in the US region.

Pandora TV Premium Service Open

Today we are pleased to inform all of our users that we open the Premium service.
We know that recently our service to abroad users has been causing many inconvenient due to lack of network bandwidth. Since the service is provided from Korea to the US and Europe, there has been many problems to send video data.
Therefore, to slove all these problems, we lunched the Pandora TV Premium Service.

What is the Pandora TV premium Service?

The Premium Service is a charged membership service which includes the network priority for a safe and fluent video streaming service environment. Pandora TV is offering the Network Priority for users as the first step of the Premium service process.

What is the network priority?

The Pandora TV Network Priority is providing users with preferential bandwidth. We set up an exclusive Premium network space only for the Premium members by expanding the existing network bandwidth.

Network expansion for the US and Europe region.

Hello, this is Pandora TV.

We would like to share good news to all of our users who are using our service from outside of Korea.

We know that recently our service to abroad users has been causing many inconvenient due to lack of network bandwidth. Since the service is provided from Korea to the US and Europe, there has been many problems to send video data.

A few months ago, it was the same situation in Japan. However we expanded the network in Japan by having a contract with a local service provider and the quality of service has been improved. Therefore for the next step, we decided to expand the network in the North America region and a part of Europe.

From the 11th of September, we are using the Level 3(the best network provider in the US and Europe region) network lines to service to users who are accessing from those areas.

You might already experience the improvement of service quality while you are streaming video clips.

We are planning to have an online research for the quality of service. It would be great if you can apply the research which will help us to improve out service quality.

Pandora TV finish Premium test.

As all of you know, Pandora TV is offering the worldwide service.

We have been testing the Premium Service which offers a network Priority in order to solve some problems.

Now we notify you know that we finish the premium test. According to the result of test, it turns out that the US region is more suitable to offer the Premium Service so we are going to open Premium service soon in the US region first.

The KMPlayer “Open Album Art”

The KMPlayer “Open Album Art” provides a preview of the video thumbnail, which allows users to view videos in an easier and in a more comfortable manner.
The user previously had to look for files in where the videos were saved. However, KMPlayer “Open Album Art” now allows users to simply click on the preview of video thumbnail, on KMP’s main page for a better appreciation of the videos. The user can now choose the display options between the album art form and the list of thumbnail form. It also provides open Album Art Search. Moreover, once having watched the video, the user can delete the video by clicking on the [delete] button. Such a service allows users to manage videos in an easier and in a more comfortable manner.
Last but not least, KMPlayer “Open Album Art” also provides remote control and a wireless keyboard. The new era has come for KMPlayer’s HTPC (Home Theater PC) users or that of TV-OUT users to watch videos via “Open Album Art” with a more comfortable service in a more amicable environment.

A more updated and a more advanced Pandora “Mini2” beta has finally been launched.

Pandora TV Mini2 beta allows you to watch a more diverse contents in an easier manner. Furthermore, after establishing numerous requests from users, a fast forward shuttle function has been incorporated for an easier view of videos.

Hello. This Pandora TV.
We are pleased to announce you that Pandora TV is about to offer two brand new services, “image capture” and “video capture.”

Firstly, we would like to introduce you the “image capture.”

An “image capture” allows you to store particular images such as panoramic scenes, scenes of interests, highlights or humiliating moments of stars.

Furthermore, the captured images can be used for implanting thumbnail images of designated videos for Pandora TV operators. Even though there was some inconveniency when modifying the thumbnail images on uploaded videos, this marvelous new function will exclude the precedent.

The method of use is as follows:

1. Click on the “image capture” button from player
2. Once the “image capture” is over, choose either “save file” or “modify thumbnail.” Thumbnail image modification can be only managed by the operators.
3. When saving the file, the size of the image has to be selected then saved.

Secondly, we would like to introduce you the “video capture” service.

“Video capture” is derived from “Flash animation cut video capture.” The original wordings, “cut capture,” are commonly known to prevent images uploaded along with Dcinside from being cut. Then, the “cut capture” made from Ani-gif use was the so-called “moves cut capture” and this was switched from gif to flash.

It will be easier to exhibit examples instead of explaining all word by word.

- Japanese Baseball Highlights

It is possible to express in an interesting way by cutting out a section from the video and replaying it over and over.

The method of use is as follows:

1. Please press the “video capture” button located in the lower column.
2. Once the capture is finalized, please press the “Create video capture” after setting up manually the duration and the image size. (In case of HD videos, it will take longer)
3. Once the “video capture” has been created, please edit the title and press the “save” button.
4. After saving the “video capture,” the website address directed to blog for “video capture” and codes for sharing will be provided.
5. For “Adult contents 19 +” and for browsers other than “Internet Explorer,” it is not possible to make use of “video capture.”
